Stockholm in one day: what to see?
Scandinavia Valaam Island – and just one day to Stockholm? Like any capital, it is impossible to explore the whole city in one day. But don’t be discouraged: here are a few tips on how not to miss the most important thing on your first trip.
1. Buy a very good, detailed map of the city. Stockholm is actually an archipelago of 14 islands, each of which has its own attractions and its own amazing story.
However, the best entertainment and the best shopping are in the Old Town – on small side streets, which may not be on the general map.
